At Early Access launch on March 25, 2021, Sentience will be available for PC (Steam), with Sony and Microsoft console versions coming later.

The Player also needs a stable internet connection to access online features.

Yes, Sentience has full controller support.
Gameplay
What do I get when I increase my Player Level? What is the maximum Player Level?
When players level up they will receive soft currency, abilities, perks and upgrades.
Players can check their profile at any time to see the unlocks they will receive the next time the level up:

How is the game balanced and how often does it change?
Sentience is balanced at launch based on internal playtests our designers work off. Over the course of time we will weigh community feedback against our design intuitions to shape Sentience into a game that’s balanced for skilled and newcomer players as best it can be.
We will update the game when bugs are found.
How are you handling cheaters?
At Red Meat Games the Community Code of Conduct is taken very seriously. We will not hesitate to respond to players and accounts that we believe breach our Community Code of Conduct or the Terms of Use at Red Meat Games. Responsive actions to such breaches vary and include, but are not limited to, warnings, suspensions, or permanent account termination at our discretion.
In-Game Currency and Shops
How do I unlock new items?
Items are purchasable through the Shop, players can spend the currencies they earn through leveling up and that they buy to get a new head, torso, and leg cosmetics, new abilities, perks, and consumables.
What are the currencies?
There are bolts and processors, bolts are earned through play and processors are purchasable through the Shop with real-world currency.
How do I purchase in-game currency?
From the ‘Shop’ tab accessed on the main menu, players select the ‘Buy Currency’ button that’s at the bottom of the screen:

Then players select the amount of currency they want to purchase:

Then they fill out they complete the payment process on whichever platform they’re playing Sentience through.
How do I see how much in-game currency I have?
The player’s current currency totals are viewable from the ‘Shop’ screen in the top right next to the player’s level, with processors and then bolts from left to right:

Purchases are completed through the store on the platform which you’re using (Steam, PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store).
